CALL FOR REFLECTIONS
We're inviting you to contribute reflections and testimonials of grief, displacement, witnessing, political and moral responsibility, and the uneven conditions surrounding our local lived contexts. Fragments of these texts will later be hand-painted onto banners and installed in a tiled composition in public space.

COMMUNITY PAINT DAYS
We're inviting Atlanta community members to join us in producing this work that speaks to our collective struggles. Through a shared creative process, we create room to explore how our grief is translated and how our words resonate collectively.

INSTALLATION
The banners will be installed in various public spaces throughout Atlanta, debuting at SITE @ Goat Farm. Through textual collage, this installation reflects the partial, mediated, and often unresolved ways people encounter one another's histories and political realities.

Addam Yekutieli (b. 1986, USA) is a Tel Aviv-based multidisciplinary artist and activist whose work explores cross-cultural encounters, memory, and the entanglement of historical and personal narratives. Using his work as a form of resistance, he fights the ongoing genocide through public interventions. Battling chronic illness, his artwork became a self-fulfilling prophecy. His disease, like the disease of the land on which he steps, walks the line between hope and despair.
Working across mixed media, installation, photography, text, and public interventions, his practice places particular emphasis on language and its interaction with place and environment. For nearly two decades, Yekutieli has facilitated participatory projects with communities worldwide with a sustained focus in the context of Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine and its connection to the rest of the world.
His work engages the intersections of the collective, the personal, and the political, employing an aesthetic of ambiguity aimed at fostering intuitive and empathetic connections, and opening space for re-imagining broader social and political realities.
