Katie Gastley is the Founder and Creative director for Idlewild Co., a team of artists who aim to produce a distinctly graphic line of covetable goods with an independent flair; a fun & fresh alternative to correspondence of yore. While they specialize in stationary & gifts, they have done multiple commissioned mural projects across Florida.
For the first of many new murals for MOJO Car Washes, Gastley created a colorful artistic installation featuring local flora & fauna that showcases the harmonious, symbiotic relationships that exist within ourselves and our environment. They’ve included well-beloved Floridian nature elements such as; an egret, snake, alligator, as well as signature palms & floral motifs. They offer these elements combined with Idlewild Co.’s signature whimsical graphic flair, to bring uplifting and playful surroundings to the MOJO Vero Beach location.
